Who Are We?

Heart of England First Aid Training Consultancy Limited ("HOEFA") was first established in September of 2018 by Bill Williams who is an operational frontline emergency medical technician with West Midlands Ambulance Service ("WMAS"). Bill has 17 years of experience on a frontline emergency ambulance with the NHS and has gained a significant amount of experience and knowledge in emergency First Aid. Bill has spent the majority of his career responding to treble 9 calls as a solo rapid responder.

HOEFA is a family run business; Bill's wife, Clare, is a registered Paramedic and has recently qualified as an Emergency Care Practioner and works in a local A&E. Clare is now also training to advance her career as an Advanced Clinical Practioner.

All of our trainers are highly qualified instructors and hold a relevant and up to date teaching qualification.

Our vision is to increase awareness of good First Aid which includes new Mental Health First Aid courses (read more at MHFA England). Our mission is to deliver our courses to individuals and organisations to the absolute highest standards.

There is upcoming legislation which will require all companies to have at least one qualified physical and mental health first aider. We offer all of the courses that will ensure that your company fulfils those legal requirements.

We will tailor our courses to your organisation which will make your course relevant to your company.

We will also offer the annual refresher courses to you which are strongly recommended by the UK Resuscitation Guidlines.

Fully Qualified Staff

All our staff work on the frontline as registered healthcare professionals or as associate ambulance staff. All our staff are at the forefront of their given field and able to pass this knowledge on to students. All our staff hold Level Three in Education and Training.
